Hi guys
Kinda new to the Spiderman world of costume, got a few newbie questions , sorry if its been asked a million times before.
Been doing some research and noted people paying for prints and then sewing it all together, Face shell and Web shooters etc i have only just bought second skin before ie this:
Costume:
is there a pre made superior Spiderman costume i can find every single type on the net except superior Spiderman
Am i better off buying and printing it myself ? what are the advantages of this ?
I know Orhadar does the print and costume, only need to find someone here in the uk to print and assemble it
are there any sewing guides out there ?
Mask- pulling on my nose is not that big of an issue so a face shell is not 100% needed, is that their only function ?
Boots- that fit well that will allow me to do parkour, my current suit was a second skin which had no grip what so ever, basically i glued a the sole of a shoe to my underfoot not the best idea, ended up having to buy and wear black trainers.
Gloves- i understand i can use puffy paint for texture and grip is this the best option ?
Tentacle Backpack-
I can use a metal frame for the basics, but i need help with building the tentacle themselves
This is what i am aiming for:
Structure:
Option 1: use expanded foam cut to shape use bondo for smooth finish = very heavy due to bondo
Option 2: Cut down and shape closed cell foam blocks (the kind they make model boats out of) plasticote dip it and paint it
Joints:
I have no idea how i will make or use these joints what can I do or use for a 3d joint
It has so be strong enough to hold into place when i position the tentacles but yet move easily into a folded position.
