Suggestions for Portal Turret legs

I'm working on a 4ft. tall 3d printed Portal Turret that will be animatronic. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to make the legs out of to be able to hold the weight of the main head. I doubt that 3d printed legs would be able to support the weight.

Spring steel would be my first look. A suspension shop or a local spring maker should be able help you out.
