Studio Scale Klingon Bird of Prey

Hi everyone,

I have been lucky enough to obtain a studio scale Klingon Bird of Prey and Klingon Battlecruiser D7.

Both will be getting build by another model maker (Thanks Richard) as my skills would not do them justice.

Both fully lit all being well.

Studio scale Birds of Prey are as rare as hens teeth these days but luckily the D7 is still obtainable.

Now the K'Tinga Battlecruiser from the Motion Picture is another matter.

Will be pulling out all the stops to find one of these at 1/350 scale on the second hand market as no longer available to buy but just goes to show, if you want that model kit, it really is worth pulling out all the stops to try to get it before it gets away and is gone for good!

Hopefully build updates will go on here.

Thanks
Wayne

No worries, ping me a PM and I can send you my e-mail address. Will be easier to send photos of the kit via e-mail than downloading here

Richards 350th K'Tinga is already out of production? It only came out a year ago :-(

yes, like most things if you nab it quick it then its gone. Ok I will get some updates on here as the build progresses.

Just need to find a decent base plaque with the Klingon Bird of Prey on it. One of the studio scale builds had an excellent base with the Klingon Instrument panel on it. Superb way to finish off a brilliant model. Ok updates soon!

Though the K'Tinga molds where handed off to someone else.
Saw reference to it some time back before I got board of watching Steve N's videos.

I wish, I would dearly love a Studio Scale K'Tinga Battlecruiser from Star Trek The Motion Picture. If only. 1/350 scale is perfect. Titan and Nice-N models I think did them but no longer in production!!!
