Street Fighter: The Movie

This might be kind of a silly one, but has anyone ever tracked down or recreated the Bison Dollars from the Street Fighter movie?

I can find a decent sized scan of the front of the bills, but never any backs. I'm not sure if they even had backs printed for movie use. Anyone know?

Related question, what would be the best paper stock to print mock bills on?

Not silly at all :)

Unfortunately, I don't have any information.

On the plus side, the film was just released on BluRay, so there is the possiblity of hi-rez screencaps.

I got enough interest for it to be worthwhile taking a shot at a repro (and also I wanted the challenge) so I browsed the production credits, took an extremely lucky guess, and emailed someone who turned out to be the artist for the original bills. I was asking about techniques used that I could duplicate to get the same end result (also a reverse design) as the only other option is buying a screen-used prop and cleaning that up, here's his response:

I don't think even my best efforts at hand-drawing the original assets and reassembling them for a digital print would come out as authentic as a hi-res scan cleaned up by Randy Vellacott himself, so I'm going to drop it and wait for his product to come out. 1994 was a long time ago and if a struggling local production artist has a chance to make a bit of badly needed fan money off the following his work got, I can spend the time I would have spent on the design hyping his release.

As for printing prop money, I've got a quote I use for 100gsm laser pamphlet stock, double sided offset printing that comes out so good I now can't sell the damn things because I keep getting delisted for counterfeiting. Runs about $300 for 10 000 units/just over a "million dollars" from a nearby pamphlet printing place, was going to do the same for the Bison Bucks but now I'll have to find something simpler to learn currency-style design for.
