Stormtrooper sound kit?!

Hey all

With Jedicon Germany 2010 "around the corner" :lol I´m planning to improve my RC SEV costume...

Besides of a few issues I got aware of during trooping at CE 2007, I want to incorporate a sound kit in my helmet...don´t know if it should be somewhat "adjustable" or a simple on/ off function.

I already found a few options, but want to hear you opinions first.

- What is the best -economic- sound kit in the $100-200 range?
- What do I have to pay attention for?
- What are you guys using for your costumes?

Is there any voice changer/ sound kit, that can be used for BOTH, a trooper and a DV with some modifications?

Thanks for your input!

I've got the ROMFX Pro and wired up with a pair of Stompers mic tips they are great!! Highly recommended..

The pro version even allows three movie sounds (I have the Imperial March, Blaster Sound and TK radio noise)..

Dont think it can be modified to DV.. Go for a Vortex instead.. Expensive I know.. But if you want the best :love

You can get a Vortex 2 to do a Vader effect, I have those in stock.

I also have low-cost trooper amps, they can do a trooper effect, fett, and boushh all in one board.

Yep. a Vortex 2 would be the choice of choices but way too pricey for me :$
