Hi guys,

I'm lookin for a loose chest plate, for my stormtrooper, but can't find it anywhere.....

Does anyone know where to find one, with out the complete armor attached to it as you might understand....It doesn't really matter what type it is, only if it's 501st approved, but FX would be cool.

Anyone who can give me an answer would be a great guy! (or lady, transexual, whatever:lol)

Thanks,

Geert

hmmmm..... join 1st Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment (ie FISD) and ask on there mate.
1st bit of advice I always give out is NOT to buy from ebay.

lets put the recasting issue aside 1st - theres already lots controversy with this topic. Even more so with TK stuff. Dont want to derail this topic.

I tend to buy TK armour from known armourers. Research on the FISD, start a FS thread there or just drop a line to firebladejedi on here - he's just been appointted as a detachment armourer.

now abt the website above - its all kindsa badness on that site. Looks like typical FX recast. their clone helmet is not accurate. The biker scout helmet - AFAIK kropserkal are the only ones offering a vac formed helmet.

not pointing fingers - just a heads up guys.

recaster suck!

Def. a recaster that kids clone armor the larger sized stuff is recasted Zerovisibilities....
So that means the rest of his stuff is most likely recast as well.Doesnt surprise me though the German garrison Co condones and promotes recasting...what a leader and role model. Not to mention the guy is full of himself. He made sure to let me know i should not dare question his leadership as he was the leader of the largest garrison in the world.Yeah Im impressed ROFL :lol:sick

Get with Deckard on FISD he is pinned in the for sale section. He sells FX lite kits and I think sells parts too.

+1 He does sell parts, to the best of my knowledge.

I will also say eBay is okay IF it's a vendor you know, and/or who conducts business primarily on there. But just searching and getting something from a vendor you don't know is fraught with peril.

Also, why FX?

Yeah true not ALL ebay sellers are frauds and recasters. There are legit people that sell their stuff on ebay.Just do the research before you get a itchy trigger finger with Buy it now button.
