Steve Johnson's "Rubber Rules" Youtube Channel!

We've got a website to direct people to if they want to buy the DVDs. We're in the process of getting it set up, as well as the pressing of the DVDs themselves. I don't have an ETA on when that will go live, but I hope soon!
since the eps are a little short, is there any chance that the raw 'behind the scenes' video will make it on to the DVDs?

either way... i'm buying! :)

I realize the episodes are short, and believe me I would love to put up longer episodes. The issue there is that it takes a week to produce 5 minutes of finished video. The goal is that we do a lot of short episodes that add up to something people would be willing to buy.

I don't know if we would put all of the raw video on there, as some of it has nothing at all to do with the film. There is a LOT of repetition on those videos. Some of it, though, is very cool and doesn't always make it into the edit, so I can definitely see putting that kind of thing in. I could even see putting some of the photos on that don't make it into the video.

Right now the focus is YouTube and the DVDs will follow. We're not 100% sure what the DVDs will and will not have. Who knows? :confused

I assume most of this is from VHS or other SD resolution source materials? Is anything in HD or worthy of being put on Blu-ray? It would be great to see anything in high def if it's possible (I'm assuming not, but thought I'd ask...)

Just shot new interviews yesterday for Night of the Demons and Fright Night! DVDs are definitely going to happen, but I can't say yet which will be first. Maybe Ghostbusters.

Steve is really focused on two things right now: these videos and his writing. That's not to say he wouldn't consider other things. I'll ask him your question and get back to you.

Likewise, if anyone has any questions for Steve regarding his career or specific films, post them here and we'll get him on camera answering them. We have some very interactive events coming up too!

You mentioned he's concentrating on his writing... does this mean we can look forward to a book in the near future?? I would love it if he came out with one similar to the Stan Winston book! I would snap that up in a second!!
