Hey all

Realized that I haven´t posted any pics of my collection for quite a time.
Last march we moved in to a new house so I finally have a bit more space to display my stuff.

Below you´ll find some pics of my collectables in their current status.
The room will be refloored with a dark wood, the glass cabinets will be re-arranged AND the SEV-mannequin will get its "trousers"...promised :lol

Anyway...on to the pics.

FIrst a shot of the main display wall will my WIP ESB Vader, my SEV and the two glass cabinets full of different stuff.

Next a pic of my smaller cabinet, where I use to throw all the doubles in, also the curious saber variations and some parts for costumes/ blasters (most conversion parts are stored away in my basement). Also shown are the 2 WIP ESB Yodas.

Here´s a shot of my BFG´s on a temporary rack I built.
collection4-s.jpg

My "famous" blaster-wall, the empty spots are either spaceholders for future blasters or of blasters, which are currently being reworked/ upgraded.

Last but not least my Vader helmets (WIP CA trooping helmet, JRX concept Vader and VMO2 ANH)

Would love to hear your opinions.

Cheers, Markus

p.s:
SORRY for the crappy pics and
THANKS WC for hosting them!

OMG and to think my wife thinks I have an addiction!!!!:lol

Markus, a truly wonderful collection. I thought I was over doing it a bit with my few blasters, sabers and ST stuff. I now have nothing to worry about, thanks mate!:lol

You´re welcome ;)

Simply show your wife this thread or look for even more impressive collections, esp. the wonderful SS model or 1:1 costume collectors.
I´m sure she´ll LOVE your small spleen then :lol

Re: Starting to re-arrange/ setup my collection...

Great collection!! Man, i really need to get an Alien Pulse Rifle, lol.:thumbsup

Re: Starting to re-arrange/ setup my collection...

Can we get a close-up of Luke's rifle? That looks pretty good!

Re: Starting to re-arrange/ setup my collection...

Nice collection!

What is the third rifle down on the rack?

And you know the sun is going to "bleach" the left side of your PR so you're going to have one side bess brown and the other will be tan. :lol

Re: Starting to re-arrange/ setup my collection...

AWEsome collection!!! Isn't that Trooper out of uniform?

Get some pants on man! Have you NO PRIDE? Now get to your station!:lol

Boy by EATF standards that is an arsenal!!! That is Empire Alcohol Tabacco and Firearms!

Re: Starting to re-arrange/ setup my collection...

FJ:
Will do, but don´t expect too much..the rifle is in bad shape.

Cesquared:
It´s an MG15.
And the PR is not even bess brown, but some close navy tan color...easy repaint. PLUS: it doesn´t even ft into my SW themed collection, but I like BIG GUNS :D

CJS:
HA, I know somebody would jump on it, that´s why I already posted my excuse in the first post :p
The mannequin will be painted black asa it´s getting warm again, THEN I´ll put the RC "trousers" on :lol

Vaders belt buckle is on backwards:)

Re: Starting to re-arrange/ setup my collection...

Looking great, Markus! You have expanded the collection quite a bit since I saw it at your old house. :)

Re: Starting to re-arrange/ setup my collection...

Things are looking good in Germany!

Quite a setup- the bases for the 2 fullsize are really nice:thumbsup

BFG Rack
I suppose the MG15 is a dewatt?
Is the buttstock on the M34 real black bakelite; resin; or painted wood?
(need a black bakelite one myself).

Wall o' Weapons:
Don't recognize the two circled in green- please elaborate.
The rest of the Wall is, of course, up to specs :love

You have a great collection:love, thanks for sharing those pictures:thumbsup

Re: Starting to re-arrange/ setup my collection...

Can you share how you made the bases?

Some member of the RPF did a wonderful ESB Chewie with lit base and I felt inspired to add this extra touch to my 1:1´s.

They´re made from MDF, with the slots cut out and backed with semi transparent foil. Then I simply put some lamps in the base e voila :)

Thanks Mike, the MG 15 is a deactivated one I got from IMA with the help of Art Andrews :thumbsup

The blasters you´ve circled in green are a scratchbuilt DC-17 (to go with my RC costume) and a hyperfirm rubber cast of a japanese Type 99 MG. It´s the base for the strange trooper blaster, as seen on a poster along with some other troopers carrying the cut down MG15 and Vader with the wonky dome...know what I mean? The background is a large sheet of silver foil :rolleyes
