hi I'm new here and I want to try everything you guys do. First of all there are alot of props and costumes I really want to make mainly from harry potter.
I know alot of websites that sell harry potter products the most notable is the noble collection. they have harry potter wands but I don't want to buy them because their wands are casted from resin but I met someone here who is a true wand maker. plus I want the firebolt broomstick I know that noble collection sells them but I'm not happy with theirs but I found a company that makes perfect firebolts but there expensive so I want to make one myself. I will however want to buy some of the stuff they sell at noble collection like the horcrux stuff they made so far I want some advice on making different harry potter props if their are some glass-blowers here I would like some advice on making the potion vials like the memory vials, felix felicious bottle, veritaserum bottle . I also love the graphic designs used in hp and I also want the books so I need some bookmaker's help on making the text books in hogwarts and the other important books in the harry potter series like snape's copy of advanced potion making, the tales of beedle the bard, history of magic, and all that stuff, I would also like some blacksmiths help on making the metal stuff in harry potter like the cauldrons, godric gryffindors sword, great hall dining set, the triwizard cup, and the golden egg I would also like some woodworkers help to make the wood stuff in harry potter like the goblet of fire, or any other wooden stuff I would also like some graphic designers help with the products in the wizarding world like the candy, practical jokes or anything else I know this sounds very demanding but all I want is some advice and maybe some pictures and tutorials would be very helpful thanks

Whitespace and punctuation in your message will really help, otherwise people will just skim over your post.

Best advice I can give you is to start with one thing and research/start making it. As you focus and move forward, you'll see that the help will come.

Rollerboi speaks the truth. One item at a time or you'll get bogged down and just buy any old junk. Pick one that you really want to do/ get at the moment.

Also, he is correct on the punctuation.

I'm currently working on patterns for some of the clothes/costumes worn in Harry Potter (The main pattern of course beeing screen accurate Student Robes) If you have any questions about costumes feel free to shoot me a pm, i'm super detail oriented and a massive potter nerd as well.

Hi SF,
Glassblowing, woodworking, blacksmithing, bookbinding, etc. each involve years of study, time, and a vast array of tools for each field. Yes, you can find members here with each of these skills, but they didn't learn them overnight.
Make a list of the tools you have, or those available to you, and this may help get you started with a project or two within your skill level.
Myself, I can work in metal or wood, but prefer to buy or swap for resin (casting) work that I cannot do.
This has helped me speed up my prop collecting with quality pieces over quantity.
Good luck,
Jeff
