Starlord toddler costume

I wanted to make a costume for my son, who is a toddler ...but was torn between spending a lot of time and money on something he will probably outgrow in a few months and possible would trash by being too rough with it. Versus my need / desire to be as authentic as possible.
This is my thread of the project that I am trying to be somewhere in the middle...given the time restraint before halloween I think I am doing ok.

very cool. Ive been in the same boat. I knew my son would outgrow his bane costume when he was 4, made it superdetailed anyways. The way I figured, he could look back and appreciate the effort. lol. I hope Itll be great I'm sure, its looking great so far. I love that little jacket!

nice........too bad my kiddo doesn't want anything on his face! he would've had a rocketeer outfit this year.......
