While being a mostly boring, cheesy scifi show it had some great weapons and other props similar to Trek PADDs. Anyone have anything from the show or pictures of the props?

I liked it a lot before the series re-boot. It had a lot of similarities to Firefly I thought. I'm interested in seeing what is out there.

Here's the only two pictures I could find showing the PDAs.

They were illuminated by a blue LED. The PDAs got quite a bit of screen time and great close ups and they seemed pretty simple but I don't have the DVDs to do any caps.

I just gifted a set of DVDs to someone, and will hopefully watch the run soon. They were a good price at Best Buy for about $22. Was there a second season of this?

I remember years back seeing some costumes on eBay for pretty low prices, but unfortunatley never watched/bought any of them.

I really liked the show.

Supposedly they tried to "restart" the show but I've only seen the original and it only made it one season. It kind of grew on me...

Here you go Surfergeek.

I made these way back in the day, so aside from these pictures I dont have any other info on it. We didnt do any of the other props for the show, as the balance of the work was done in house at the production.

The guns were all aluminum, with stock plastic handles that were found at a local gun shop. Each gun had a custom led board which did various things.

Hope this helps.

Take care

Jason

Those are pretty cool guns!!! I remember there was a auction on ebay not long ago that had about 4 padds from the show, I was going to get them, they went for cheap, but got the seaquest props instead :(

Those are great! There weren't a lot of props in the show but the weapons were very cool. Thanks for posting them. :thumbsup

Would you happen to remember what prop house was selling them?

I believe it was moviebits.co.uk the props were in excellent condition, the one I wanted the most was a padd but it had leather attached to it, kinda like a book, looked very cool!
