"Stargate SG1" Replicator

Just finished this up. A Stargate SG1 Replicator, the paintjob modeled after the Replicators that consumed Asgard technology, which gave them that blueish/purple hue, and made the one in "Small Victories" the major target since the others would be susceptable to corrosion.

The kit was bought off eBay, and has had a few minor modifications in some areas for additional strength, though the rear arms are still awfully fragile. The paintjob is Tamiya paints, silver coat, followed by a bit of red and blue clears and a pearlescent clear coat.

Excelent build :thumbsup , that looks awsome. I saw a kit there as well, was it rough to assemble. By the way did I mention that how cool that replicator looks :D

Thanks. The instructions were a little lacking. Some of the pictures could have used a bit more information or detail, and I was actually missing the assembly rods that were used for the assembly, and were supposed to be included in the kit. Total assembly time I think was around 8 hours. I think it came out fairly well, though would have made some changes to the way I positioned the legs now that I know a bit more about the design.
