Stargate SG-1 GDO

With the weather warming up I can play out in the shop again. I've been tinkering around with a basic SG-1 GDO design to mill out of aluminum bar stock. It's based off of the 2x1x7.5 dimensions. I'm sorry about not knowing proper CAD techniques for representing everything & I forgot to edit down the pilot hole circles for the gear teeth on the end. But I'm just looking for critique on the overall look & proportions of the prop.

Looking good!!! :thumbsup I slammed one together last Spring for a local costuming group, but I didn't like the final look of it. It might have been ok for costuming or a "stunt" version, but it wasn't up to my usual standards.
