Stargate (movie) cover stones interest?

I want to make a sculpture of the cover stones from Stargate that could be hung on the wall. They'll be in fiberglass but with a stone texture, I'm thinking like 4' in diameter. Anyone interested?

Several of the ORIGINAL cover stones are in the hands of members here.

They are big mothers. And very fragile.

Depending on cost, I'd probably be in. Would look awesome next to Xeno's Stargate kit once I get it assembled & next to some of the other plaques, signed photo's & prop stuff I have from SG-1.

If you made it to scale to Xeno's kit, that could benifit both of you and get more kits sold since they'ed be complimentary.

How large is Xeno's kit? I used to have the page bookmarked because it was incredible. I think you're right though, if they were in scale.

How big the originals are? My understanding was the SG1 'gate was partially cast from the original movie 'gate with the main changes being the Chevrons & the Astronomy symbols/glyphs going from engraved to raised. If that is the case, the MGM SG-1 signed Stargate blueprints I have say the inner diameter of the gate is 15.0ft and the outer diameter is 20.0ft. So... 1/2 scale to the movie seen cover stones would run about 11ft in diameter since the outer stone wedges straddled the gate.... that's way to big since most modern homes only have @8-10 foot high ceilings.

Xeno's gate at 1meter (40inches) is just about right size wise for a wall hang replica. It's big enough to show the detail, but not overly big you can still hang other things on the wall or have display cabinets along the wall.

Although I would like to make them fullscale, really I would, I'm thinking like 4' in diameter or in scale with Xeno's kit even better. Luckily I was just provided with the studio blueprints so this is a definite now.

Nice, I would have figured those cover stone blueprints would long have been forgotten somewhere. I thought it was luck when I was able to get the 2 prints I have for the front of the gate. I know a few years ago for a charity auction there was a set of 'gate prints that showed the side dimensions & detail along with the clamps etc for the SGC gate setup. I so want to to redo my prints in CAD also showing the side detail to print out poster size on a line printer to hang up, and maybe use the Ancient font to label things some.
