Stargate Atlantis: Ronon Dex Pistol

Greetings everyone,

I'm a total newb to prop making and need some guidance on creating a prop pistol for my possible Ronon Dex Cosplay. It would be easier to order a Wilco model, but I've read they went out of business. If anyone has any suggestions of similar looking guns, please let me know. It doesn't have to be exactly the same prop, but something similar will do in the meantime.
