Starfleet grey top uniform

I've found myself a taylor who says making a uniform to measure so it looks right on me is a piece of piddle.

This will by my very first custom build, so I thought I'd defer to the experts here for some advice.

Does any one know of any materials that come close or exactly match those used by Bob Blackman for the ST: First Contact to ST Nemesis uniforms?
Does anyone have links to online stores selling suitable materials.

Try as I might, I cannot find any online stores. I think my Google-Fu is weak.

Also, does anyone have a set of patterns?

Well, I had one that was officially licensed by Paramount, and according to the manufacturer (I did pay about 150 bucks for it in 2000) was made from the exact same material used for First Contact. The outer shell was nothing more than a well dyed, heavy cotton. I never dissected it, but the shoulders appeared to have a small amount of batting in them to give them the look they had. The sleeve stripes always seemed off to me though. They appeared to be a synthetic material that was shiny… but I think the ones on the show used the same type of material that was used for the black section, simply dyed the appropriate department color.

As to what the undershirt was actually made of, I have no idea. They didn’t offer it, and I had to improvise.
