Why not? Judge his comments on their value not whether he deserves a voice or not. Those that have been following the leaks, which have been all confirmed, this is easily the most leaked film in history, have pretty much seen the whole movie anyway and that is more than enough to make judgement calls or anything else on it.

No need to see what I read about 6 months ago. That's why I am choosing to not see it. I didn't care for what I read and it's all been confirmed now so I'll pass. For those who are seeking enjoyment in the wreckage, have fun. For those still on board, have fun too.

Lucasfilm just screened the movie for its employees and families.

So all the updated leaks revealed on reddit are 100% true. You can go there and read them if you want spoilers.

It is better then TLJ, but it could only go up from that film, but not much better.

This audience did not cheer and was silent during the heroes big moments (not a good sign).

Movie feels convoluted with so much plot going on.

Mark Hamill does have a wink wink “FU” line to RJ concerning Rey throwing away a lightsaber. LOL.

Movie will further divide the fans with online debate for years to come.

Hopefully this will be KK’s final swan song at Lucasfilm. Good riddance.

We surely miss you George and now forgive you for AOTC. LOL

I've been 100% behind the ST since TFA, and loved TLJ (despite the digs people like to put into people for doing so). However this film did nothing for me beyond some tiny aspects like Adam Driver again doing a good job in my opinion. Ian being yet again high quality, and Oscar really making Poe the best new character to come into this trilogy.

I get JJ perhaps wanted to attempt to skip over aspects of TLJ to smooth things over and bring this finale to more people, but to me he failed by bringing back Palpatine and then creating another brand new force power of healing that does nothing but simply have to happen to make the story carry on.

Leia's saber looks god awful to me, and lacks anything that would make me want to replicate it, let alone like the look of it.

I'm seriously disappointed that they caved in and had to have a backstory of family for Rey, that at the same time provides no meaningful answers or any real sense.

Palpatine being back, ruined Anakin's sacrifice and importance for me.

I hated everything about TLJ, but agree with you 100%. TLJ is now canon, so this film needed to deal with those plot points and move forward not backwards.

JJ was not the filmmaker who could helm the final film of this saga. He brings in no new ideas or character arcs and just copies GL ideas from the OT and PT.

But making “Reylo” the hero of the entire saga destroys the sacrifices made by Vader and Luke in those films.

Why the hell was the emperor sitting around the past 30 plus years just waiting for “Reylo” to get to this point in the saga? Makes no sense whatsoever and is never explained and just plot convenient.

Crappy writing, for a crappy film ;)

Totally agree. The TLJ plotlines could have been developed into something far more interesting for this film.

I'd have accepted the story more if Anakin showed up with Luke and Leia and it was them together finally learning how to stop death and bringing Kylo to the light with it and therefore making a Skywalker "rise" again in Ben Solo. It'd even have far more resonance to have Ben Solo then burying his mother's, uncle's and (technically) grandfather's sabers in the Lars homestead.
