STAR WARS Rebels new animated series!

I suppose it's possible? I think the names (or lack of) are noteworthy. We oddly never hear the Grand Inquisitor's name and the two new ones seem to be known only as the Seventh Sister and the Fifth Brother. Wonder what's behind that?

According to Filoni(?) in the videos posted by MJF stated that there was a hierarchy within the Inquisitor ranks and they don't seem to have names but numbers. The suggestion is that their number represents their standing within the organization, presumably the lower the number means they higher rank they are.

I dunno, this episode kind of proved just how much more...simple... rebels is compared to clone wars. I think in clone wars, the inquisitors would have been more of a threat. the rebels where able to escape a little too easily IMHO. there's not much danger in the rebels universe...

still a fun show though, just not as..involved..as clone wars was

Also based on Dave F's comments, it seems that the number ranking/hierarchy does not automatically mean the highest ranked (lowest number) becomes the "Grand Inquisitor".

It was. Filoni says he was seen in the CW, but we didn't realize it was him. 3:50 mark in the RECON video.

Get out of here!! I have to go check this out now, what season was that? Where did filoni say this? Is there a YouTube video? Can you tell I'm super excited about this!?

i cannot find a CW episode called RECON? am i missing something?

Rebel Recon is the behind the scene segments they release online after each episode. The one for the last show was posted by me last night in this thread. Go back an watch it so you know what we are talking about.

I finally got to watch "always two" it was alright I guess, u always need those filler episodes to explain the story. zeb finally got to be the hero for once

I also was able to find the recon episode. I wonder how serious filoni was, was the grand inquisitor only shown in the back ground when they needed a random character to fill the screen. or was he really there as a future baddie?

it was really interesting thouhh

What I really want to know....

Who is going to build one of these? And can I get one too?

ID9 SEEKER DROID

They may have been small in size, but ID9 seeker droids were dangerous and deadly when used for nefarious purposes. Resembling probe droids, ID9 seekers had a half-hemisphere dome with a threatening red eye. They could hover and crawl on their pincers, imitate other droids, and were outfitted with electro-shock prods that could incapacitate mechanical beings and harm organic lifeforms. The Seventh Sister, one of the Empire’s Inquisitors, employed a small army of ID9s in her efforts to capture rebels and Jedi.

I thought this last episode was sadly lacking. Way too much stupid comedy and people acting non chalantly in the face of danger. I certainly hope this is not the direction this series is going.

I agree, sadly just a meh episode. Even my ten yr old commented that at one moment Zeb was down for the count, then we go to commercial. We come back and somehow the droids have trouble with him, when before break he was out cold?! For that matter, the Inquisitor only took Sabine?

I've felt that way about this season in general, but we have a long way to go. I was genuinely hoping either Zeb or Sabine would be killed off. About the only way Sabine would be interesting to me would be if she really were an Imperial spy/traitor, as someone here suggested. That would really give her character teeth and a good hook for some interesting plot possibilities. Maybe her graffiti has actually just been breadcrumbs for Imperial agents to follow. Haha! Regardless, so far she and Zeb have been utterly pointless and boring to me.

You know? I just watched the malevolence arc from season one of the clone wars that featured a medical base like the one on the last rebels episode. That base had tens of thousands of clones on it.

And they found one med kit?

I figured maybe it had been pretty thoroughly evacuated and what they found was all that was left? I dunno...
