And here is the complete Story of my Star Wars puppet stop movie. I also made this picture-book next to the movie. It is in the same typography than the actual old movie pictures books. You can see a lot of the props I made with some friends for this Episode when we had been teenies. The story plays after Episode 4. I built over 300 Figures for it and we had 63 stages. We worked on it over a period from 1991-96. I stardet building 12 " Star Wars stop motion figures since 1987. This is the first Star Wars puppet animated 70 minutes Stop motion with all from scratch made figures, props and sets. I don´t know what happed, because this thread got lost. I had posted this before . but never mind: there we go again: This is the whole, complete (but unfortunately German) Story of "STAR WARS - The Powerplay Of Forces":love

first and last double sides:

I like to show you some background infos of the movie. this is how my room looked for over 15 years: selfmade Star Wars movie puppets all around:confused:cool

Re: Star Wars "Powerplay of forces" Fan Movie

I'm just itching to see it really bad.

Outstanding work! I could have never ever done all of the myself.

Re: Star Wars "Powerplay of forces" Fan Movie

Every SW movie needs a protagonist and an antagonist. The antagonist needs to be clearly larger than life and disproportionately evil so that the protagonist has to overcome insurmountable odds to vanquish his foe and bring resolution to the story.

The antagonist in your film does not appear clear, so according to these "laws" of effective film-based storytelling, I propose you add one accordingly:

Thank CS for posting.

Well we had Han Solo´s Friend The mercenary Num Doray as Hero and the Imperials and theis base on the planet Thauro-Gond on the villains side;)

Re: Star Wars "Powerplay of forces" Fan Movie

what is amazing is you have completely captured the 'texture' of the
Star Wars that has been missing for a long time.

that´s a huge complement, Sir. :cheers
That was exactly what we tied to capture.
It may have been easier for us, because in those days the prequels had been faaaar away...

Re: Star Wars "Powerplay of forces" Fan Movie

I second that... would love to see the movie!

Oh, and amazing dedication to your craft TJ!

Re: Star Wars "Powerplay of forces" Fan Movie

you will.
unfortunately, I´m very busy. That makes it difficult for me to make an updated version. Maybe in English.
But I´will work on it

Re: Star Wars "Powerplay of forces" Fan Movie

Hooray! Finally a long awaited dream from my teenie time came finally true. Thanks to modern ways and the opportunity to make photo books nowadays, I had been able to finish what I began 1991! My own Star Wars movie book:cool
It´s in the very typographic style of the old Star Wars movie books have been made like. I just love their styles. I had alot of fun, putting my book next to the old, original ones, to take some pics.

I´ve received 4 books. 3 of them I´ll give as a present to the people who have been involved into the making of the movie.
