I ´ve shown you my ESB 12 inch stop motion puppet, so I like to show you my ANH version as well. I made this one very late. I finished him on the 25th of Juli 1993. It took me about two weeks to built him. Not like the ESB which was my first figure. Here are some pics:

This is me back in 1997 next to an old version of my lifesize ANH Vader. I had a Fiberdine Helmet and a cast of the original movie armour and ANH chestbox that Tim Ketzer offered me back in 1995. Except of the upper armour I updated or replaced everything - even the body - several times. I guess I am one of the first men who had a "cast of original" lifesize Vader standing in his home.

Here are some more pics of my 12 inch ANH Vader:

I remember I installed lenses that could glow up red and made Prowses eyes more visible.
Unfortunately this figure was stolen some years before.

This is an autograph on my photo that Heinz Petruo -Darth Vaders German voice - signed me at his home back in 1995.

That pic shows Darth Vader after his crashlanding on the junkyard planet TuffnuhVII. The photo was signed from Dave Prowse 1994 on Jedi Con 1:

Anything big or small is good to see!:thumbsup
Especially SW!

So size doesn't matter?

Your Vader's are terrific, Joe. Too bad Hasbro's couldn't even come close....and someone got PAID to sculpt their horrible version. I honestly think Kenner's original 12" Vader sculpt looked better than 1995's. But yours still blows them both away.

Wow. Thank you Steveo!!! I´m very happy you like him. You are so right about the hasbro/Kenner toys. The 12" figure from 1978 looked a lot better that the later ones. There was a time when I dreamed about working for Kenner /Hasbro, later sideshow and so on, to sculpt an official licensed Darth Vader figure. But I guess this dream could easily change into a nightmare. So I´m happy I never forced it. And kept Star Wars as a hobby.

I found a picture of my Powerplay Of Forces ANH Vader, that shows him in my archives, before he had been stolen. This shows his pose ability a bit better. I guess that was the last picture of him I made:
