Star Wars in 3D show off thread

Thanks Howard.

I have now replaced the detail view movie with a flash animation.
I'm very frustrated because it was a 300mb Quicktime movie, I saved it out on the Avid as a Flash movie and it came out at 33mb! It looks great too. However, whenever I embed it in a web page I just see a white square. I converted it again using Riva FLV encode and it came out looking a little fuzzier and at 70mb. Hoever, it works on the website.

Anyone who hasn't been able to see it before, please let me know if you can see this one.

Well the Gods have smiled on us and our first stocks have finally arrived in the warehouse. I am over the moon. They turned out better than I had hoped, especially when you consider how low we were able to get the retail price. Now you too can have the surprise hit YouTube video :lol on your wall at home.

As well as the Star Wars poster, we have a Manchester United football team poster and a Shelby, GT500 classic Mustang (Steve McQueen in Bullit, anyone?) poster. They are soon to be joined by another from a new 2008 movie. I can't say just yet, but it's the wealthy industrialist who doesn't dress in red and yellow.

Thanks, Guys.
I hope you'll like the one I'm preparing at the moment. It's driving me batty!

Well, you have dropped enough hints that it should be obvious by now. I for one can't wait to see the poster. Keep up the good work.

Kevin,

spectacular effect in that video !!!

The artwork is my alltime fave, just because that image was featured on the german sticker album, my very very first contact with star wars in 1978.

I wish that instead of "Star Wars" there´d be "Krieg der Sterne" on it ;)
That would have been the perfect item to have as a celebration special at this year´s jedicon over here in Germany.

How big is the edition size on the prints ?

Thanks,
Michael

Well, I tried to purchase the star wars poster (and a few others) from that website, but there seems to be issues. I payed with PayPal, but the poster site said my payment was declined. Meanwhile, I have a receipt from PayPal saying it was paid.

Now I', in discussions with the website to see what's going on. But I'm looking forward to getting the poster :D

The poster arrived and I'm loving it! Even better than expected.

Now we can only hope that you guys do the epV and IV posters :)

This was a nice one to do because it was the original one-sheet used to promote the first film in the UK (and several other territories). I'd like to do a set, but there aren't posters to match the style of this one. I'm quite keen to tackle Drew Struzan's posters for the original trilogy. If so, should we do the New Hope poster too?

What Star Wars posters would people like to see?

Still haven't heard back from GBposters, but in the meantime, I'd still love to see the ESB poster that has the star destroyer coming straight out, surrounded by TIE firghters with Vader's big ol' head as the background. This one here: http://www.allposters.com/gallery.a...Strikes+Back+(Star+Wars+:+Episode+V)&SearchID=

:D

I'd stick with the old. Then do Alien, Conan, Logan's Run. :)

Also, you'd prob. make a killing doing all the old B-movie horror posters.
