Star Wars EU help needed- R9 droids

Since we plan on using it AS a prop, I'm posting this here as well as the OT section- Admins, please delete thread if this isn't appropriate.

My girlfriend does a Mara Jade character for cons, and we are working on two R series droids- an R2 of mine, and an R9 for her. We'd like to make hers match the one Mara Jade uses in the YZ war era, which she refers to as simple "Nine". The only pictures I'm finding of an R9 are here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/R9-se...stromech_droid , and this one is not identified as to it's full designation, nor who it was assigned to.

I'm hoping to find pictures or a print showing the entire dome in sections, so that I can copy it for her droid. I'd also like to find out if the Mara Jade droid was ever described with a color scheme, and what it was, so it can be painted accurately.

I'm already a member of the Yahoo R2_builders group, so the body portions I have covered, but so far, I've not found anyone who has tackled an R9 before, so information has been rather scarce.

Any help or pointers to information would be appreciated- Thankyou!

Thanks- I hadn't considered going directly to the artist- see what happens when someone looks at the problem from further away? :)

Until the DN3:SW book comes out as a graphic novel or comic book, I'm afraid the text description really doesn't do much- consider how hard it would be to get two matching concepts of R2 D2 if all anyone had to go on was "a white and blue R2 unit". Fortunately, R2 is seen on screen, so we have what turns out to be several versions of the same droid to go from for building references. Mara, while quite possibly the most popular character to come into the lexicon after the movies, unfortunately gets no LFL produced screen time- all we have to go by is fan films.

Just looking at it from a Star Wars artist point of view. :)
It's possible that there's an R9 illustration in the upcoming Scavengers Guide to Droids from Wizards of the Coast, but I don't know for sure. I worked on the book, but didn't draw an R9 myself.

If Mara's droid isn't in there then the color scheme would have to be up to you based on any description in The Swarm War. No other Lucasfilm approved information exists yet.

Yes, this is the problem I've been running into- there's another member on the R2 yahoo group that wants to do an R9 as well, so hopefully, the extra help will benefit us all.
