Star Wars action figure replacement lightsaber blades?

Has anyone heard of replacement blades for the action figure lightsaber blades from 2000s-2012? My nephew has around 7 where the little nub that stick in the hilt broke. Before I just drilled a little into the blade and stuck a piece of metal rod in there so he could still use them. I thought maybe there were some replacements. I looked, but haven't seen any.

There aren't any official replacements that I am aware of, but something that worked for me in the past is replacement filament for TruGlo gun sights. you can trim it to the length you want. Comes on various sizes and colors. They have ruby red, red,orange, green, and yellow.

Just look for "hasbro lightsaber" or something similar like chaep old figures with sabers; you will even find purple blades.

I've seen the replacement ones, but I need blades for the versions that the blade comes off the hilt. I haven't seen those yet.
