Star Trek XI Uniform shirts

we are about to get some prototypes on the screen printing for the fabric. One thing has become very certain for our and that's the colors were dyed and not "found" for the jumbo spandex. So that's another step we didn't anticipate but something we plan on doing for the sake of accuracy on color.

In the meantime our prototype is going to be a blue I found to be close...not very close but better than what's out there. We are at the step of having our printer make the first passes at dye sublimation for the prototype.

The pants prototype are done and fitted. Those look extremely good to say the least.

As far as what we could pull off, you will get the best you will ever see...I am certain of this. I know its a confident of me to say this, but my team works under the most scrutinous of details and one motto : if its not right, we don't put it out.

The only limiting factor is that to get there will take money. This is not your 100 dollar shirt - this is something, to get it right, will cost good money in order to enable customizations to get this EXACT.

We won't settle for near right...we settle for exact.

No worries though, once we have an idea of what we have to do, I'll put out a pricepoint . The process is simple, if we get enough people to simply break even, we do it. If not, we can't afford to lose money - it won't happen. You will see the prototype before then to make your decisions. As I said before though, don't expect this to be a $100 project.

yah, we're doing a run of small medium large. Again, with the women as well, we'll have to make sure we get the run pricing out first before moving.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Large...crap I may have to really work the gym alot harder to get to that point....

I can't help but continue to wonder how amazing it would be if the RPF started our own licensed prop replica company: RPF Replicas - by fans, for fans!
Ahh, but alas, the all-mightly license holders would charge too much to have thier precious properties turned into high-end collectables, and we would'nt have the diversity of products we have without them.
BLAH!

Any chance of selling just the fabric, once it's made.

Save you a ton of trouble letting people build their own from there.

I could see a 'kit' being offered - it would include all the fabric and trim details, as well as a pattern.
I'm a size small so I would just get the shirt pre-made as intended. If there is room for resizing, I would take it to a local tailor for a better fit.
In any case, this is an exciting project and looking forward to seeing how things get from A to B.
