Star Trek TOS Medical laser scalpel; FINALLY found a set!

For the last year I've been looking for the right Danish vintage salt and pepper shakers that were used for McCoy's "laser scalpels". The first challange was to find the right ones. This is tougher than you would think in a wierd way. The same maker made so many similar ones that finding the proper ones prooved to be a challange. Thanks to Phase Pistol, he send me a pic of what they looked like while still in the package. (thanks, Karl!) My latest ST TOS quest has come to an end.
Just a little red and green spraypaint and taaa-daaaaa!

I'm tossed between trying to hide the wood grain pattern or leave it like it is. I'm thinking of leaving well enough alone as you never got a close-up of the scalpels and I just can't see them putting that much work into these as they were mostly used just for set dressing.
