Well, I did a run of Playmates Science tricorder electronics, so why not a run of Playmates Medical tricorder electronics? So, for anyone that is interested, I am doing a run of 10 sets of upgrade electronics for the Playmates TNG Medical tricorder. The electronics are designed to specifically fit the Playmates Medical tricorder. These electronics include full lights and sounds that replicate the screen used hero props as close as possible; all of the sequencing lights run identically to the screen-used version and the sound is very authentic. The conversion/upgrade comes with a full step-by-step Video Tutorial to help you prepare the tricorder body and install the electronics.
Here is what you will get with each kit:
- 4 fully assembled circuit boards (front scanner pouch board, top status indicator/sound board, main control/viewscreen board, and handheld scanner board).
- LiPo battery (300 mAh) with charging port and charging cable
- main power reed switch and magnet
- hardware pieces "greeblies" for the top array
- Master sheet of colour graphic decals.
- Step-by-step Video Tutorial
- Wiring diagram and instruction sheet
Tracked Shipping is included in North America. Please PM me for tracked shipping rates to other locations in the world.
See the video tutorial at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mm2KEaXuvmg&t=13s

Each set of electronics is $155US. PM me if you would like to purchase a set.

Dropping this run down to 5 sets only. Too many other projects happening.

Sorry I have not responded to anyone lately. June was quite the roller coaster ride. Took a contract job with IBM; my son was rushed into emergency surgery (he is okay now), and my car underwent $3000 worth of repairs. But I am back again and taking orders.

I still have a couple of these upgrade electronics available. PM me if interested.

Good day. I just found this on Google search. The link to the tutorial video is on corrosion on the inside, not assembly of the aftermarket parts. I am seeing if you still have these kits, or if I sent my non functioning medical tricorder could you upgrade it with your kit.
