Star Trek Picard Season Three

An interesting look at all the changes the bridge had during the run of the show and Generations. Looks like the frame around the plaque was there in later seasons.

The first one was stolen (not sure what season). The replacement, with the frame, was made in collaboration with the Franklin Mint. So if you own that version, its screen accurate.

That's not what happend. The Jurati collective, created with the Queen from an alternate timeline, are completely separate from the Borg. They addressed this in the first few episodes of this season.

They are the kinder, gentler Borg who come knocking at your door and ask you if you would like to be assimilated…

That explains the plaque thing.
Yeah, it does. Although I know someone out there will most likely complain about where the pics were shot or the angle or some other nonsense. Anything just to try to win and look like they're all-wise and such, ya know? But the set is yet another example of the way Kurtzman treated this:

It may look like the original at first glace, but upon closer examination, there are serious flaws.

Setting aside quibbles about details which actually aren't important, I do continue to be annoyed by people who act like experts and use their status to do whatever they want with these IPs. For example, the Okudas and their lording it over everyone as The Experts, to the point of making changes to TOS to suit their preferences (replacing a D-7 with a Bird of Prey in "The Enterprise Incident", etc.).

Took this screengrab from the episode (cropped it to highlight Stewart). You can see he's standing on the ramp, yet appears to be in front of the plaque. Keep in mind that he's really standing behind the plaque as well. And you can see his posture is far from what it was when he was 30+ years ago.
Is he a bit lower compared to the previous pics posted of the TNG episode? Sure, but again, Stewart does not stand as tall as he did then. And as others mentioned, camera angle, lens, and depth of field all play a big part, and we can't see his lower body in that TNG pic.
It's all perspective.

Also, it's definitely possible that the set is not 100%-exact-to-the-micron-accurate to the original, but suggesting the whole set was built wrong based on a couple shots of Stewart and a plaque and over 30 years of time passed is kind of crazy.
