Star Trek Online (STO) Comm Badge/Insigina

I don't think anybody posted pics of this yet (or at least I didn't see any), but this is the comm badge from the deluxe edition of Star Trek Online. The game's supposed to take place about 30 years after Nemesis, and in the character/uniform customization in the game, this is one version of how you can make your comm badge look. (The other options include a silver or gold featuring each of the TOS departmental symbols (command, science, engineering), or no symbol at all. That's not including if you choose one of the retro uniform that includes a period-appropriate badge.)

It's not badly made-- it's heavy metal, and it has two clutch-back pins on the back. I like the idea of the beveled surface, but the shape of the insignia itself is a bit off in my opinion. Maybe the "legs" are too short...? I'm not sure.

But, I just thought I'd share...

I got a copy too! The badge is very nice and according to the game you can really wear it with any costume. Pretty cool to get a badge with a game. Kind of like getting the 4 badges with the Star Trek movie Bray.

It came with the (too-expensive-yet-I-still-paid-for-it) collector's edition of the game. I'm not sure if it was just a pre-order bonus or not, tho-- I think maybe it comes with every collector's edition.

Here's a picture of the overpriced box that it came with. I have seen a few at EBGames and places like that still sealed if you are after the pin.

Recently nabbed the collector's edition off amazon for about $13. This pin pushed me to try the game and it's not half bad.
