Star Trek Gary Seven IDs - FREE DOWNLOAD

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

Now these are cool! Great work here Mic

I love this episode - I've always wondered if Gene did this so he could spin it off into it's own series - it seems like they set up a lot about the character for it just to be a single one time meeting.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

Thanks.

Yes, it was intended as a pilot, and a cost saving season ending episode.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

Here's a comp of all three scaled with the projected cover size.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

I have wanted a set of these for soooo long now!
Please, if/when you do a run put me on the list.
Thank you for showing us such good work so far.
Kevin.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

Yep, originally intended series. That's why they spent so much time and effort on the sets/costumes/props.

I have a few drafts of the original script that had absolutely no Trek elements.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

Good job Mike!

One of my favorite Episodes.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

Been wanting to make them ID for a couple of years. Good work on them.
I wish someone could make a run of Gary Seven's servos again.....

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

So I'm trying to figure out who's name is in the police commissioner spot. In real life, they were:

Vincent L. Broderick 1965-1966
Howard R. Leary 1966-1970

Neither of which looks like the existing signature. :lol

The signature on the NYPD ID is John Rogers.

The CIA ID is Albert Hobson.

Best I can figure on the NSA is Franklin Anderson.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

I think the NYPD Commissioner is John Ryan. CIA is either Hobson or Holson.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

And again THANKS. I think you are right. Ryan, but I'm sticking with Hobson.

Either way if I do a run, I'm leaving that blank. I have lousy handwriting.

I live in a very small town area and can't find anything to use for the folders.

Can somebody check out the stationary stores in their area and look.

My pleasure. I'd like you to know that I'm interested if you decided to do a run. You do great work.

BTW, the folders that the ids are in resemble some old savings account pass books that I used to have.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

Great work!
Time consuming, but nice to see it done.

The only suggestion I was going to make was tighten up the kerning on 'City of New York' as shown in first photo.
Mostly too much space between T and Y, and Y and O.

But in these photos it looks as if you've done so.
Or maybe not.
Then again, I have to wear reading classes to see that close on a small image.

Re: Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

These are great, well done man. You can add me to the list of people who want one of these should you do a run. :love

Star Trek Gary Seven IDs

Here something I finally got around to starting.

I wanted something to go with my Gary Seven Servo.

This is my first try on each.

I really NEED the font Universe Condensed Regular to do a better job. ;)

Comments? Suggestions?

Good job on the ID's.

I did the same artwork up a few years ago but didn't quite finish up the job.

This has given me the motivation to get busy!
