Hello RPF'ers

Does anybody know of good sources for reference photos of the Starspeeder from Disney's Star Tours ride? I'd like to put together a definitive blueprint set prior to a build.

I'm aware of the large scale toy and the dead thread about somebody else's build and of course have found some stuff from trawling the interwebs, but I thought I'd ask the RPF brains trust too.

Happy building and thanks,

- Gary

the star wars chronicles book has all the reference angles you would need of the actual filming miniature. I have a few larger versions of those pics as well that I found on the web. try googleing through there isn't a lot of info out there but a heck of a lot more than some other ST references like the fuel tank for example, tried for years to find good reference of it but nothing has surfaced yet.

If your going for a true Studio scale Starspeeder, make sure you see that there are two different models out there, the original used for the filming, and another one made later for use as a scale reference during the Tokyo ST construction. This same Tokyo model was cast and painted for the starspeeder 3000 scheme model that was previewed in Disneyland. There are a lot of different details on the Tokyo one compared to the filming miniature, especially the details on the engine section in the back, as well as the overall size.

just reread this, wasn't trying to sound like a jerk just didn't know if you found anything new that wasn't in the last thread

joez2391 and Treadwell, my original inquiry was prompted because I'd exhausted all references provided and mentioned in the thread and for that matter elsewhere online, so was reaching out to "the wise" to learn what other sources there might be.

i would LOVE to see progress... you should try and get photo references of the FULL SIZE replica that they had/have in the Star Tours "LOBBY" if you can...
