Any updates?

Why yes, actually! Just this morning I got some new pics in.

Not everything is correct, this is still in beta, as it were. Some places have the wrong print pattern (on the sleeve). Parts I've made blurry to avoid showing the less-known print pattern. Some shapes need to change. The print pattern that IS visible is 10-15% too large. But overall I'm excited about this progress.

More to come very soon, but here's a little update shot... Keep in mind, my jacket maker doesn't quite have a superhero build...




Also, from now on this jacket is going to be referred to as the "Galaxy Defender ver 2 Jacket in Red Leather and Fabric."

Ok, got my sample in the mail yesterday, here's the pics!













So there are some changes that will be made to make it better, but I'm quite happy with how this has turned out. I hope to get a new sample made with the fixes in the next couple weeks, and then to start taking orders.

Looking good as is, really - but if you are gonna adjust the elbows, oblique straps, and the width of the printed front strip (width down the front and lower the "pectoral V"), that would take it to the next level (just a quick few things I saw - but like I said, it's already great as is

I'm not saying I'll 100% agree with you, but I do know that after spending so much time staring at a project, you can start to miss things so another pair of eyes would be much appreciated!

Changes look good - I know you have way more material to go off than I do with common behind the scenes pictures and promotional shots - but it seems to me that the reference you have may be a stunt jacket (look at the oblique straps - the hero version doesn't seem to have visible grommets/rivets on the front, while the stunt man version does. See what I'm seeing?

Oh. The hero version does have visible rivets on those straps. Even without the pics I'm using, there are clearly visible shots of him, no helmet so you know it's actually him, with visible rivets.

I agree on those strap rivets, now the underside of the forearm and the front of the shoulders seem to have the same coloring, and be much more of a burgundy than the chocolate - the coloring also seems to match the elbows. Also, yes, that perforation on the back-part of the trapezoids seems to be a more tightly-spaced square punch.

The triangle shaped print? Yes, it's too big on the sample by around 20%.
