The boot spats will finally be available! If you've seen my Star Lord leather coat you'll know that I've been working on the leather boot spats for quite a while, and I'm finally happy with the template. This are the pics I took as reference:
I did a mockup with glue and some golden faux leather I had laying around and it fits quite nicely. Originally the boot spats are custom made for the boots, so I'm making the belts long enough to be used on top of a boot and adjustable so you can use them on top of your pants as well in case you don't want to build the whole boot. Right now I'm thinking the boot spats would be about $125 dlls the pair plus $20 dlls for standard worldwide shipping.
I'm gathering people interested in the boots but I'm not collecting any payments just yet, I plan on having the first one made out of real leather next week so you can check it out before you make any payment. I plan on making around 15 for this first run, let me know who's interested!

*EDIT* Picture time! This is the first pair, for the rest I'll use veal leather (used in motorcycle spats), which it's harder and tougher and will not bend, since this goat leather, as you can see, still bends a bit in some places. The black-ish square at the side where the rockets are placed will not be included. Sorry for the shoes, my boots are not ready
