I'd be interested in knowing what colours you used for that. Is it rattlecan? Or airbrushed?

You guys made one awesome helmet. Bravo! I am 100% completely jelly of all who got in on this run. I look forward to more incredible pictures :)

I actually just used tape.. the paint wasnt exactly dry, as I painted the whole helmet in under 4hrs... so there were a few fixes.

It was a combo, I used the colours I have around from some Iron Man helmets I painted..seems fairly close.. when I get some time I will put together a write up on painting the helmet so people dont have to ask the same question over and over :p

Ok I just wanted to be clear with everyone getting a helmet and wanting finishing work.. Its just me doing this, casting, finishing etc.. no us guys.. 1 guy and I have lots of other things I'm doing.. so please dont ask me to speed up or finish it faster. If you cant wait for the finishing work you may want to find someone else to finish it or try your hand at it.. the reason I am doing a limited number of finished pieces is to get them done quicker.

I'll second what theRocketeer says, we partnered up and decided to do this helmet mainly because we wanted one ourselves. Then we decided to sell a few, never imagining that we'd have to put the brakes on at 3 runs!?! If you've committed to a helmet, you will get your helmet, this I know. But theRocketeer is doing all the work now, he's running the molds, finishing them, packaging and shipping. I'm trying to help wherever I can, but we don't live close enough for me to help as much as I'd like.

If you're wanting theRocketeer to finish your helmet, prepare to wait, if you can't wait, perhaps look to @GeneralFROSTY, but I happen to know that Frosty is already booked to the new year with baby groots. And if you really really need it badly, refer to the finishing guide, maybe you want to tackle it yourself - http://www.therpf.com/f78/finishing-my-star-lord-helmet-228023/

If it helps, I don't even have a helmet yet, there are a whole bunch of people that will have theirs long before I get mine :cry
