The walkman in the film is a rare collectible because it was the first walkman Sony put out, then they dropped the Walkman name a few years back. Those two factors drove the price up, and now it's in a major motion picture which just adds another layer on.

I think I'll skip the Walkman too (and the boot rockets, since I'm not sure I want something strapped to my ankles all day). I may go back and add them later, but I just don't know if I'll have time to finish that many props by the end of August!

Worked on the boots today almost done with therm, so yay!!

Picked up my casing kit for my belt buckle and boosters today can't wait to trial and error that lol

Awesome deal on the walkman, I was pretty sad because I was bidding on one like yours on ebay and I got outbid the very last minute yesterday. It went for $29 plus $10 shipping, but I was at work when it happened. Good luck with the mask!

Finished my buckle today not bad for my fist time molding and casting anything. Now I just need the mask, boosters, and the power gem.
