Hello, and thank you very much to anyone willing to provide any input. In order to make a bust based upon the appearance of Jason Voorhees in my favorite Friday The 13th movie - Part 3 - it is unavoidable that I must make a copy of the Stan Winston pullover mask worn underneath the hockey mask. I have read on the Stan Winston School website that the mask was made of foam latex, whereas I not only do not have any experience with foam latex, but none so far with making a bust by any means other than by way of a 3D printer using PLA filament. Furthermore, from what I've read, foam latex seems as though it doesn't tend to last even as long as mask making latex, with the matter of both being made of organic rubber causing them to degrade over time, but in the case of foam latex, the addition factors of tremendous susceptibility to damage, etc. bearing upon longevity. That being the case, I humbly request any advice on this matter that anyone would care to offer. I should mention that the end product would need to be such that it could be impressed upon and, in reality, deformed, so as to match the mask worn by Richard Brooker in that the straps of the hockey mask indented the foam latex mask while being worn whereas the hockey mask itself apparently flattened the deep brow area and likely other features of the foam latex mask between it (the hockey mask) and Brooker's face. Thanks again!
