Hello everyone I am putting up some saber hilts for sale in order to help cover Medical Bills as I have needed various MRI/MRA scans
to diagnose some problems that have over these past couple years impeded my ability to work as I normally would.

At this point in time I would prefer USA sales only and will include shipping and paypal fee at the advertised sales cost.

First up are some 2012 Stainless Steel Obiwan TPM Sabers from an older run on the fx-sabers forum that I didn't wind up using.

The details are as follows...

- Designed in Solidworks by Parks Sabers for DIY FX Conversions -
- All body parts machined from solid steel.
- Outer grip, neck, emitter flange, pommel cubes, and emitter shroud are finished in bright dip / clear tool zinc.
- Inner grip, emitter body, and pommel are finished in bright dip / black tool zinc.
- Inner grip body is opened in the back for crystal chamber / reveal capability.

Hardware
- Custom stainless steel emitter shroud bezels with 10/32 threads.
- Custom machined brass knurled knob with 10/32 threads.
- Anodized aluminum red knob on/off switch.
- Very heavy and solid.
- Threaded Assembly.

Blade Chamber
- Emitter opened to hold 1 inch Blade or 7/8 Blade with inner tube.
- 1 inch O.D. Inner tube has 7/8" I.D. for components.

Battery Chamber
- Battery Bracket w/ Circuit board and Custom Spring for Holding (2) CR123 Size or (1) 17670 Cell.

Please Note:
Empty Hilt Kits come unfinished and partially assembled for making your own working conversion or display prop.

These hilts/parts may require modification for completion such as drilling holes for the blade holder screw,
index grinding for emitter/head alignment, cutting to fit parts, sound boards and lighting components etc…

Hilts can be used as is which resemble a lightly weathered look with finish blemishes as they have been sitting in a box for 10 years now,
Depending on the level of finishing you wish to accomplish you can polish, sand, repaint and refinish to your desired aesthetic level.
Some parts may require finishing sanding of imperfections, machine / tool marks from production.

How were these originally meant to be assembled (ie the little battery and such), is that just meant for a like basic flash on clash stunt? Kinda tempted just because it’s steel so I won’t be afraid of ruining it like my Dewey/AS fixed prop lol.

Hello everyone sorry for the late replies I was out of town on personal business and unavailable this past week.

I've replied to the PM messages for jimmyc and SgtBatten;)

These are from 2012 and were done by Parks based off of my "Negotiator" modifications I was doing that had the exposed crystal chamber reveals when you'd rotate the body sleeve.
These were done for installations for the FXS forum and the affiliated Manufacturers at that time.
They are basically the first generation of what would become the Korbanth Obiwan hilts that have gone through a few revisions
themselves to this day but the basics are the same, they thread together and were originally designed with installations in mind
or just to display them as is.
Coincidentally this is the first hilt Parks did that after much discussing with him and many a long phone call of Jedi mind trick between
myself and Randy (Korbanth) helped to shift Jeff into the direction of making the install capable hilts for the community as opposed
to just modifying what he already had so it is a milestone of sorts.

Why it was made out of Stainless steel? I still ask my self that same question because they are rather heavy but He wanted to experiment
and felt it made them feel more like the weight of an actual weapon so this is what we got.
It is unique and they are the only Stainless Steel Obiwans ever made but that also made them rather heavy to wear on the belt for cosplay
so future versions went back to aluminum.

Because of the age the battery accessory components like the spring and guide channel were originally made to fit basic store bought
CR123 batteries so the spring doesn't fit around 18650s but they do accept 17670 size lithium ions if you wanted to use the parts included.

Most people didn't use the CR123 parts and just made their own 18650 battery packs that plug in and used the extra parts for other things
like crystal chamber details supports etc...
The Speakers I'm including are also form that era and they are meant to project through the hidden sound holes under the grip area.

Let me know if you have any other questions and thank you for your interest

Received. I have not unwrapped the individual pieces yet but it was packed so carefully I am not concerned anything could possibly have gone wrong. Thank you so much. Can't wait to assemble it soon.

Hello there
Any chance you would ship one of these to Brazil?
I should be able to but be warned international shipping has been very expensive lately.
You can PM me your shipping details so I can quote it for you and you can then decide
if its worth it depending on the shipping cost ;)

Haven't bumped this in a while so thought I'd let everyone know I still have some left, the price includes shipping in the USA;)
