ST: TNG MkVI and MkVII Tricorders

Cheapo attempt at photographing these for a friend... figured I'd post them here as well. Sunlight from a window, white sheet and a piece of white paper...

Stapleton Productions does nice work. I have a tricorder kit and a hero Cricket and I love them both.

Stapleton actually sculpted those right? They arent based off the rodd.com kits?

Originals as I understand it... they are hollow fiberglass and have LEDs in places where they protrude such as the door and front panel so it's ready for a later upgrade. Even the view screen is ready for lighting.

The scanner is held in place with embedded magnets, fits perfectly.
 
I have one of his MK VII tricorders and he also did a cricket phaser with a custom paintjob for me. I think he does nice work. I'm really interested in the MK VI too, so thanks for sharing the pics.
