I received a email notification for a private message this morning, but there was no such message in my inbox and the link to the message stated the "Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails. If you still wish to send an email to this user, please contact the administrator and they may be able to help.". The email seems to have come directly from a hotmail account, not rpf-notifier@moviepropsites.com but I don't know how the user would know my personal email address. I'm not sure if the RPF sends members personal email addresses out along with private message notifications. It just seemed a bit strange. The user name in the email IS a RPF member, and the message was in reference to an old thread I started, but I don't know if it came from them. Here's the text of the email with "" filling in the personal info that was omitted.

"username"- the RPF ""@hotmail.com[/B]

This is a message from "username" at the RPF ( http://www.therpf.com/forum.php ). The the RPF owners cannot accept any responsibility for the contents of the email.

To email "username", you can use this online form:

OR, by email:
mailto:""@hotmail.com

This is the message:

Hey,

private message content
- ""

Maybe it's nothing, but I've had a string of weird emails in the past week.

It sounds like they may have clicked "Send Email" instead of "Send Message" (private message) when they tried contacting you. It would then go directly to your registered RPF address instead of your PM box.
