so either the clip was added after that scene was shot; or it is two hilts.

I’m sure they could afford to make multiples so I bet there’s multiples. Haha XD

Though looking at the gauge (and mechanical retention quality) of the D ring there... I imagine they early-on realized and thought to make separate versions beforehand since that D-ring isn’t holding sh**

The Tatooine shots were indeed filmed in Jordana early in production along with Passana...But they reshot and touched up the insert shots of the sabers specifically. When it was originally shot there was no cloth/blanket that the sabers were packaged up and tied into. Source: The Skywalker Legacy TROS documentary.

So I'm guessing there was a Leia belt hilt, a hero hilt, and then the stunt hilts.

If you're asking that they are *literal* soldering marks, I think the answer is "probably not." I think the words "soldering marks" and "solder marks" are used within the context of the interview/article as a descriptive term only.

solder marks also probably not even in-universe correct. Assuming brass, steel or some other space material it seems "welding beads" or "brazing beads" would be a better term.
