Hi,
I would like to know how to make a spider-man costume,I'm a newbie here so I would like to know what to do!:)

I would love to do a Spectaular Spider-Man costume(has anyone tried?) or TASM costume or classic one! Thanks for reading!

Here are the steps:
1. Obtain the pattern file
2. Run the print
3. Do puff paint (optional)
4. Start sewing
5. Add accessories: lens, shoes, webshooter
6. Take pictures and post it here
7. Gloat

It depends on the suit your replicating, its around 150 for a great "comic" suit and up to 400 for am ASM/raimi suit.

I'd probably bump up those numbers a bit, especially if you have to source out the sewing. Prints alone cost about $100 and some change, not to mention all the goodies besides the print :lol. If you were extremely conservative, it might be possible to pull it off for around that amount though.

Well, Sonjou has a spectacular spider man print that goes for $65 i think. If you get that printed at fabric on demand, that's another $100ish. Sewing should be around $200, and a faceshell with lenses about $150. Roughly $550 altogether because the pieces will most likely cost more than I have stated.

Yeah i did sew and detail my suit alone and did alot of bargain hunting. in fact the asics i just got were only $43 in mint condition. My ASM suit was around 400 by the end. But i didnt make or buy the mask and lenses (plus the optional face shell). So i can agree with you if youre willing to be a perfectionist. There are luckily some great suits for less than that.
