Spider-man (Raimi) 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

Anyone know the size for the front and back spiders? looking to 3d print them :D
Im in the same boat. After looking at pictures looked like it took 4.5 web sections/squares vertically, so i measured that on my suit (6ft tall) which was about 20cm cm vertically turns out the scaling of the files worked out about perfect for my height. Not official but i did mine at ~y = 7.7 inches and x = 5.5 inches and then 0.14 inches for z (3.5mm thick). If anyone else that has a better idea could weigh in that would be great. Hope that helps. As for back spiders went off images and tried measuring a similar length on my suit. Which was 11 inches (28cm) by 10.7 (27.2) inches at the same z height as front spider. Had some weird scaling where it confused mm instead of inches (but the correct numbers) so be wary of that if that comes up.

Hi,

I am wondering how I can figure out the correct sizing of the web files. When I open up the .stl file they open very small. I am hoping to save them in the correct size. My Height is 5'10. Thank you very much.

Did someone know how to cast spiders on urethane? Some idea?
Hi, the best way from what I have seen is and what I am going to try myself for an emblem is 3d print, smooth it all out and cast using Smooth On Mold Star 15. Once the cast is made I will cast in urethane using Smooth On Products. I am hoping to have this done soon. I would check out their YouTube channel.

Ok so... im new on here but iv been using this forum for a while now planning my raimi suit build and now i have begun i wanted to share my progress and some useful tips if i can.

To start with iv just ordered my suit from print costume and used kens pattern with a little updated colours. Super grateful btw kenlandrum for the files you provided.

I also ordered a 3d model for raimi face shell and lens frames from thingiverse and sent the files to a company to get 3d printed for me for only £30 instead of the £100 plus from elsewhere for a already printed shell.

I have attatched photos of my way of doing the front spider emblem and i will repeat the process for the back spider. I used the pattern image i sent to print costume to get the scale for the spider and then used a 2mm thick black silicone rubber kitchen non slip mat and created a stencil the dimentions i wanted then used a ball point pen to carefully trace the stencil and then used scissors and a box cutter to cut out the shape. I have a glossy 2mm sheet of red rubber for the back spider i will do also. I plan on making the front spider more metallic looking too before the time comes to apply it to the suit.

I have already cut a pair of leather shoes to go inside the suit and removed the soles then plan on getting rubber replacement soles off amazon to glue to the bottom but obviosly this will need to wait for the suit to arrive.

i will post some updates in the future when the faceshell arrives from the 3d printing company and i make the lenses for the frames using wire mesh off amazon and some plastic from either a bottle or a clear plastic container as long as it is able to bend how i need without looking bad.

Thanks again for all your help.

Suit is Finished! Faceshell fit like a glove and was easy to put into the mask and line up then cut the eye holes and used double sided sticky tape mesh to hold the cut fabric inside the faceshell. I followed what spidey planet did in their video to fit their faceshell.

back spider glued great after 40+ hours of drying time and the suit pattern from kenlandrum is so accurate and made the whole process easy.

very happy with how it turned out.

Hello, I would like to know if anyone knows how to do muscle shading for costumes, since I would like to make a Raimi costume that is the closest to the one in the movie, but my only impediment is that I still cannot do a good muscle shading. I would like to know if someone can help me

Amazing job on this! Really well done! I’m actually in the process of designing my own pattern and wondered if you minded sharing where you got the shoes and the rubber soles from? I’m UK based.

thank you, links are below for rubber soles.

link for rubber sheet used to replace the actual shoe sole before going into suit:

link for soles to go on outside of suit fabric:

not sure what the shoes are but look for a minimal detailed square toe loafer with no laces. Remove the sole and replace with the smooth rubber then put in the suit and position properly then follow El Fett tutorial video on youtube to cut and glue suit fabric to smooth sole. Glue on the grip sole after it is cut to size.

My pattern? My pattern is from Comic Chris from instagram, but it's far from perfect. As for the faceshell, its El Fett's Spider-Man 2 shell. I plan on revisiting this suit soon with an accurate pattern and an actual 2002 shell! I've posted screenshots of the new pattern
Your latest versions of the Raimi patterns are incredible.

If you are attempting to download the ai files for the webbing the link will not download the correct files. That link only has Tasm2 webbing. I made my own raimi webbing that matches perfectly. Here is that link. All Webbing Files - Google Drive

Hello Sampan,
Thanks for offering the files. Last piece of the costume I needed. Much appreciated.
Cheers,
Kevin
No problem. I also just got all the files cnc routed onto molds just like they did in film production. I will be offering urethane casts soon to anybody that needs some for a reasonable price.
