Spectacular Spider-Man film

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series

How's it all coming along? Man, I wish I had acting skills I'd be your Spidey lol I'm a martial artist, a real one not that fancy crap, not bragging just saying. I've been training for 14 years and I'm just confident it what I can do. Is there going to be any like hand to hand combat, kicks, punches that sort?

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I've been very busy with school and other stuff. The screenplay is almost done (Finally!). Still need a bunch of actors and actress's though.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series

I think I'm going for a dark blue. I'll use that picture and use some parts of the Amazing Spider-Man 2012 suit. The honeycomb patterns and such.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series for youtube

The script is now 26 pages. Here are pages 13-15. The first encounter with the Scorpion. :)

EDIT: Forgot to put the DRAFT watermarks for the pages. These pages are somewhat copyrighted to me. Thank you!

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series for youtube

BTW, some actors are wanted. Like the actor for Scorpion, Jameson, Shocker, George Stacy etc. and the most important one: Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Presumably American actors. If from any other country, they should speak almost perfect english. No weird accents, like the Finnish accent for example.

If any of you can help with this, you get a CASTING credit in the movie. Thanks!

find a way to get me out there and happily :lol been acting since i was 3 just finished the course so of to the real acting world lol you must have reasonable budget for all the green screen needed :D hope it all comes out well if i could get out there i would im the build age heck same hair as Parker/Spiderman lol good luck bro im subscribing now

The Amazing Spider-Man is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Marc Webb, based on the comic book of the same name and starring Andrew Garfield as the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It is the fourth Columbia Pictures film that portrays Spider-Man in film and is a reboot of the film series that stars the superhero. The cast includes Garfield as Peter Parker and his alter ego, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors. The film will portray Parker as his super powers are evolving in high school and will explore him trying to discover the truth behind his parents. The film also brings to life new designs of the film franchise such as Parker inventing artificial webs like in the original comics instead of organic webs.

The film's development began simultaneously with Sony announcing the cancellation of Spider-Man 4. Opting for a reboot with the same production team rather than another sequel, the studio announced a July 2012 release date for what was now titled The Amazing Spider-Man. James Vanderbilt was hired to write the script while Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves helped fine-tune the script. Pre-production involved the casting of many actors and actresses trying out the role of Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy respectively until Garfield and Stone were the clear choice. Principal photography started in December 2010 in Los Angeles before moving to New York City with the help of Red Digital Cinema Camera Company's RED Epic camera. The film entered post-production in April 2011 with the film being shot in 3D with the help of 3ality Technica and with James Horner being involved with the film score.

Sony Entertainment has focused its marketing campaign with a promotional website with released images, three theatrical trailers, a prologue screening in certain cities, a video game tie-in being developed by Beenox and a viral marketing campaign among other products. The Amazing Spider-Man is scheduled to be released first in June 29, 2012 in India and the Philippines in 3D and in IMAX 3D and will then be released in the United States on July 3, 2012. A sequel of the film is being planned for release in 2014 with James Vanderbilt hired to again write the screenplay and with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci reported to re-write it.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series

No updates so far. Plus the films budget is a issue. At first I thought this was going to be a somewhat easy project that wouldn't be too cost-heavy on my wallet, but as it turns out; this is going to be an huge project that I can't handle on my own.

As of now this project will be put on hold. And it's likely not going to be filmed this summer. Realistically the film will probably begin principal photography in late 2012 or early 2013.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series

you should do a kickstarter campaign for funding or something similar

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series

You can't start a Kickstarter page unless you're an american. Unfortunately I'm Finnish.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series

I totally forgot that it existed! Thanks, dude.

But still, even if we get the money needed for the whole budget, Im pretty sure it won't be filmed this summer. Not enough time to get all the equipment needed.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man film series

I've always loved film. My film teacher in school says one reason I could make it in the industry is cause I'm so cocky and headstrong. :p

I would like to do a film but I'm entering my senior year in HS, i would start writing and go into post development and film next summer. Always a possibility.

good luck! If you need any writing or tips on film making, I'm your guy ;)
