Spaceman Spiff's Napalm Neutralizer

Hello RPF peeps, I thought I'd share one of my projects with ya'.
I have a love of vintage sci-fi ray guns and after reading Bill Waterson's Calvin and Hobbes comic for years, I got a wild hair to build my interpretation of Spaceman Spiff's Napalm Neutralizer. I say interpretation since there isn't a well-defined reference for this ray gun.

I love it. And it does look like your classic ray gun.

Design was done in Fusion 360 and all parts printed in PLA on my Prusa i3.
My intent is to have a "functional" model with lights, sound and vibration.
I've integrated microcontroller, audio amp, sound board, speakers, battery, LED's and switches.

Looks like a miniature van de graff generator... hey...

There was a "Hyperwave Distortion Blaster" as well...that he didn't like so much.

Hehe, Yeah!
Seems like there were quite a few variations on Spiff's weapon, name variation and functionality/controls.
