I made no distinction between them.I dunno what makes it different between actor deaths, versus actors who just don't want to return, or cannot return (which is often a gray area).

John candy and joan rivers have passed, and daphne zuniga apparently wasnt interested. Dick van patren isnt someone who would likely be in the new one anyhow...i dont know about the guy playing col sanders. Then again, i wouldnt call him necessary to a sequel either.I dunno what makes it different between actor deaths, versus actors who just don't want to return, or cannot return (which is often a gray area).
With 'Spaceballs' they are missing like half the main character actors now. They will have to either recast a lot of people, or be missing a lot of people. That choice will shape the direction of the movie.
Strange... I'm seeing several places stating that she will be in it....daphne zuniga apparently wasnt interested. ....
It's not like Zuniga has other amazing projects to choose from, right? "I dunno, I was tossing up this Scorcese flick..."
Maybe she just doesn't wanna sign up for a culture-wide referendum on how she looks in older age.
Anyway, the net says DZ is on board now.
She'll be fine. She looks amazing!![]()
"At last, we meet for the first time, for the last time!"From my last job, and now this current one, both delivering to houses being built, I ended up going down, or across Lone Star rd a lot...or by this school.
Still can't help myself from using a low deep voice...LONE STAR.....
Hopefully the new one can bring jokes, where 40 years later people will still be quoting them....its a very high bar to set though.

High Anxiety is definitely underrated. Trivia about the shower scene: the bell hop who "stabs" Brooks was played by future director Barry Levinson:Yeah, the trailer is fibbing a bit in that regard.
Spaceballs is a lot fun but it's from an era where his films were waning in quality. Relatively speaking, after his one-two punch of 1974. And I feel High Anxiety is underrated.
But look at the other comedies that came out in '87. Spaceballs is heads above most.
Idk, but I noticed that Pizza Hut now has an extra flavoring (I guess?) you can add - it's called "Hut Dust." It sounds like something that could be heard in Spaceballs.Think we see a return of pizza the Hutt?
