I think you matched that metal finish to what we see on screen perfectly- not too shiny but nor dull either. I also really like how you lighted the build- that would look spectacular in a darkened room like 'the night before launch' in my opinion.
Never got one of these kits but posts like this really make me tempted

My flying model. Sadly did not go well. Two motors exploded causing a rapid mid-air disassembly. Currently rebuilding.
