SP Vader helmet

Hello,
I was wondering about a helmet called SP, where it originates, how accurate it is, and how much the helmet is worth.

I tried to search for it, but "SP" is too short to be appreciated by therpf search engine

It looks like a good helmet to me, but I know nothing about vader costumes.

are you sure you don't mean SPFX?

That's the only one I know with those letters in that order.

The guy is offering to sell it for $295.00 + shipping

it is in kit form with grill, lenses, tusks and everything. But again, I dont know what its worth or how accurate it is.

It looks like a good deal for that price. SgtFang is offering an ANH for 200+shipping, but that does not include lenses. Looks like a good helmet.

Yeah, I saw the SgtFang helmet too... wasn't sure about accuracy with that helmet either. How would they compare?

I think $295 sounds like an ok price it looks good but im no expert on Vader, but bear in mind if it were one of the more known helmets you'd be adding another $200 on that price.

I thought that but that site hasn't been changed in a long time i remember seeing the same pics on there well over a year ago close to 2 years so maybe the domes been changed it looks more proportioned in the kit JiminyJedi posted

They are from the same family of helmets. The SP has a similar source to the Fyberdyne helmets.

I'm not so well-versed in the SP helmet, other than that it shares a similar source to the Fyberdyne. If the SgtFang is from the guy I think it is, then it has links to the Fyberdyne source too, but since I haven't gotten any confirmation about that, it is only speculation on my part.

Those I've spoken to who have owned an SP has remarked that the dome looked small. Whether he's gotten a new dome for his mask, I have absolutely no clue. I think it would be wiser to simply write Sith Planet about the mask on eBay and ask him these questions - he was friendly enough to answer my questions when I inquired about his helmet in the past, though can't remember much about what he replied and lost it all when my computer crashed.

First, what's with all the Photoshopping on those photos? What's he hiding (and badly)?

Second, it looks like a completely different helmet on the bottom pictures - much smaller than the ones on the top photos.

Third, no ebay listings - just searched. Where did you get those pix? All he has on his website is a finished helmet.

Umm...the way I read this thread is JiminyJedi is being offered this helmet, not that it is listed on eBay. What photoshopping of pics are you talking about, exactly?
