Source for miniature feathers?

I've been looking all over the net, and at craft stores for very small feathers that look like large feathers. I've been able to find small feathers, but they're out of scale, I need miniature ones that mimic large eagle or hawk feathers for a dinosaur project.

Like around an inch to half inch long.

I'm sure you've already thought of this, but could you cut down small bird semi-plume feathers by trimming one long edge and use them for the flight feathers?

You could spray them with some kind of adhesive to stiffen them up.

Have you gone to any Native American sites? I know alot of their work uses feathers. Some Turkey feathers painted to look like eagle feathers. May have look searching that area.

Try looking at some fly tying supply (fishing) websites they come in all shapes, colors and sizes...

** Edit actually just do an ebay search for 'fly tying feathers' there are 1000s of them up there, with a little scissor action you could make a ton of unique small feathers...
