Sons of Anarchy

She tried to take his kids away after she was kidnapped so he went to her apartment and stuck a needle full of heroine into her arm and told her he called her on her and told them she was drugged out of her mind

:eek That is disgustingly awful... but so is so much of what people on the show do. Very sad, I used to really like and be hopeful about Jax. Such a tragedy.

Anyone else get a feeling that Pineys old pistol that Clay gave to Juice is gonna be important? I can understand if they simply just showed clay giving it to Juice, but then they made sure to close in on Juice sticking it in his cut after he put it back on....

I mentioned what I thought that was foreshadowing in a spoiler on the last page:

I'm like 99% sure that when Jax called Juice while he was at Clay's helping him pack that Jax offered Juice another way to keep his part in RICO from going to the table. The most obvious thing he wants is for him to kill Clay, and after seeing the way Juice eyed Clay's pistol I think it's a fair guess he's going to try.

Whoops I completely looked past your spoiler post haha.

I really don't see it playing out like that. When Clay dies, I see it being by Jax's hands. I know Clay said he understood why Juice voted him out, but after the bond they've been forming this season, it still has to burn him. I honestly think that Clay is either setting Juice up for something, or he's trying to persuade him to join Clay's outfit. Juice has no family and all he has is Samcro and even then, no matter what he does he's toast once it goes to the table. And with clay basically acting like a father figure to Juice, I can see juice joining him.

Gemma is the devil and Otto is just insane. Does Jax still plan to turn Juice over to the crew as far as letting out his secret at the table? Or will he let it go since Juice made all this happen with Clay? That's what I'm wondering. Jax use to be a nice guy, definitely has been interesting to see him turn to a real bad guy.

Well that was one hell of a season finale!

I thought pretty much everything about this episode was perfect, but of course not the part where Tara was arrested. I was so happy when Jax pulled that rag out of his bike because I knew he had a gun in there to save Tig. Of course the fact that it was the gun that Clay gave to Juice was icing on the cake, but I have a feeling Clay's going to survive this as well. Otherwise I think they would've shown him die, and as for Gemma, what else can I say other than she is just evil. Then there is Otto, and he is just nuts :p I still can't believe he did that.

Of course Kurt Sutter seems to love to physically and emotionally hurt the character he plays :lol

Yikes, full of holy **** moments. I've reached the point where I'd sooner see Gemma die than Clay. Good grief does she need a bullet between the eyes.

Sad to see Bobby step down, but understandable. Wonder if it'll be Chibbs with Tig taking back the Sgt at Arms slot. I don't see anyone else at the table who could reasonably be Jax's Veep.

Frustrated though by the arrest at the end. The show seems to have a tendency to set up things and then utterly t-bone them with horrible bad luck or manipulation by characters. It's getting a little contrived for my tastes. Yes, Gemma ratting her out to the cops was seeded so it didn't come out of nowhere like some of the others, but I felt it still followed a pattern that I don't care for narratively.

Chibbs will def take over as VP, without a doubt. Jax trusts him the most, thus that conversation a few episodes back they had outside. I can't wait to see Gemma get popped though, I'm so tired of her character in the show messing everything up constantly.

I was just glad
they didn't off Tig or Juice. With the way the show tends to dismiss characters from the series, I was genuinely nervous that one or both of them would end up worm food before the credits rolled. Some fans may take issue with certain parts of Sutter's writing, but I think it's a testament to his skill that he still finds ways to make us root for someone, even after all the horrible things they've done.

I feel pretty much the exact same way about everything you said...

I literally yelled (cheered) when Jax pulled the gun out and went to save Tig, as I really wanted to see him avenge his daughters murder. Also once I realized it was Clay's gun I figured Juice had to have given it to him which means his betrayal probably won't be brought to the table. I didn't mention it before, but I'm glad Bobby turned in the VP patch as I think Chibs makes more sense as Jax's VP. Oh and obviously I agree Kurt Sutter is a genius of a writer!

Much the same way the third season came to a close, with the confrontation outside the clubhouse and the rest of the crew condemning Jax, I believed everything wholeheartedly. And just like that conclusion, I was completely satisfied with the way things ultimately turned out. SOA is about family, brotherhood at it's core, and little moments like this cement that fact.

You have to appreciate how they feel about certain things. For example how discusted and pissed they were when they saw the dog fights and the dumpsters full of dogs. Shows you that they aren't so very hardened to the core when they care about things like that.

Such a great episode. I was way off when it came to Clays gun but I'm glad I was right in the fact it had a role in things.

As for Otto.....
I was eating my dinner when Otto bit his tongue off....

I'm kind of surprised Donal Logue was barely in the episode. During the end of the second last episode, you see his bed covered in guns. I thought for sure something big was gonna happen. Kind of disappointing to have that build up with him and then nothing.

Chibs is absolutely gonna be Jax's VP. After the way they were showing the relationship between the two lately, there's no other choice. I think Tig will get the SAA patch, he's gonna want to try to make it up to Jax for not letting him get killed.

The way things are going with the club, I'm really starting to wonder if Bobby is gonna leave. He's been against most of Jax's actions lately.

That would've definitely made me lose my appetite :lol

I think the only reason he didn't play a bigger role in this episode is because they are setting him up as a major character in the next season. Although I would've preferred to see more of him...

I'm curious to see how he reacts to Tara being arrested, and I'm assuming (hoping) she eventually gets out so I'm sure that will play a part in what he does...

I can't see that happening as Bobby absolutely loves the club, I think he will stick around to try and fix what he thinks is wrong. Of course I guess there's a chance things will eventually go to far for him...
