I'd honestly lost track of the model years ago and was quite surprised and pleased to see it pop up where it is. I'm hopeing the ridiculously old fashioned electronics and lighting are being updated.

Yes we are! The engine lights, landing bays and fibre optic lights have all been converted to LEDs for heat and longevity consideration. However, your original landing lights are still running from your original circuit board. Good old Earth technology!
You did an impressive job on an iconic model! A massive undertaking! We'd love to get Lorne Peterson or Steve Gawley up to the shop to take look. They live nearby, so who knows.
