Leslee this is coming along very nicely. Think I'm holding out to see your Mark VI or War Machine project! BTW I'm loving the new slim helmet. What is the wait time for one of them? Digging the chrome one....

Hi Leslee,
your work is simply awesome !!!

This new Slim Size helmet has an open faceplate?
What is the difference with ther previous version of the slim helmet?
Any chance to make a motorized version of the faceplate?

Thanks for your answers !

Re: Some Recent works on Iron Man replica : ARMOUR SUIT UPDATE 14 -05 - 2010

Sweet glove! can't wait to see it finished. Will that glove be wearable or just as a little thing to look at cuz I might buy 2 if they're usable since it's just about the hardest part of the Ironman suit.

Wow - gotta hand it to you - love this thread and how you are progressing with the IM armour. Gloves look amazing to start - will have to see if I can track down the lights you used. Anyways keep up the great work. You've got me hanging on every post!

Hi,

Which lamp did you get the led's from? and the inner ones? can you give a brand name?

I am working on a mark 2which my friend is CAD modelling from laser scans of a hottoys 12" and will be CNC made.

Excellent work!

Thanks , yes of course the glove will be wearable , we are planing to cast it into two way , which means the hard way or the rubber way . The hard way will be by resin and with all the finger cover to glue on a glove , the another way is to cast and make the full glove with rubber , like the stunt suit glove , have to find out which way is more accurate .

it is whole lot bigger compare to the sideshow bust , the sideshow helmet only can fit in a kid's head.:) . My slim version helmet is made according to my head size , which means is 23" of head. We will re sculpt another helmet for the new armor , will be sculpt by clay and by my team leader. The new helmet for the MARK VI and WAR MACHINE can fit up to 24 1/2 - 25 head.:love

I use white and clear acrylic plastic and 2 super bright LED bulbs for the eyes.
